Mr. Hayden currently serves on a 15.1 billion dollar healthcare systems board and created the company Board Developer. He currently sits on and/or chairs 22 boards. Previously, Mr. Hayden ran the largest American-owned ambulance system in the world.

Jim’s passion for people and making a difference in their lives is evident by his 20-year career in healthcare and the advancement of the healthcare industry as Regional Vice President of one of the world’s largest ambulance providers. From saving lives in emergency and disaster situations to counseling and development, Jim has served in key leadership capacities. He has served as healthcare provider, executive, board member and chairperson, as well as a third world medical mission volunteer.
Jim’s focus on development and leadership extends beyond healthcare and board development to real estate. He served as President of Retail Brokers, Inc. (RBI), Arizona’s largest retail commercial real estate company, and still maintains his own commercial brokerage firm.
Jim has chaired and served on many regional Boards of Directors for organizations including Dignity Health (serving Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center), Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, AT Still University, and Catholic Charities. The result of Jim’s philanthropic efforts is evident. He has increased youth involvement in the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley by 25%, with a resulting revenue increase of 22%. Similarly, throughout Jim’s tenure with Dignity Health, donations and revenue for the regional Phoenix hospitals increased by 25%.
Jim has been recognized for his philanthropic and leadership efforts including several Board Member of the Year awards.In 2003, Jim was honored as one of Business Journal’s 40 under 40.
Jim’s education includes Phoenix College and Arizona State University, where he studied Medicine and Communications with emphasis in Corporate Leadership and Humane Studies at ASU. Jim graduated from Phoenix College with honors and summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Science Degree from ASU. Jim’s medical education/credentials includes: NREMT, ACLS, PALS, NALS, BTLS, CPR-IT, EVADE-IT and CISD-IT.
He also completed Disney’s Executive Leadership Program in 2002.
Jim and the Hayden family are Arizona natives since 1840. He is the youngest of nine and has been married for 23 years.His wife and two daughters are truly the light of his life.
